Really fascinating article (just pretend you don’t see the evo-psych nonsense at the end). I had no idea women were by far larger consumers of True Crime literature… makes emotional sense, though, I love me some SVU too. I’d just be shocked if that transferred to the actual purchasing of collectibles, which is a predominantly male pursuit regardless of the nature of the items. And unfortunately I’d bet a lot of these dudes are psycho enthusiasts because some part of them wishes they had the balls to get in on the action.
